Abstract: Interview with Frey and Henley that takes place after the Hotel California tour has finished. They talk about topics like band dynamics, how things have changed for them, and the message of the album. We get a few more details on Leadon's departure (apparently the guy had a breakdown in a Holiday Inn coffee shop not long before leaving). I hate to say it, but the guys sound pretty pretentious and full of themselves in this article ("We cannot betray our own poetry" - Glenn. "Our songs have more to do with the streets than Bruce Springsteen's" - Don.) Charone is less than impressed.
