Notes: Frey was paired with Stadler and their team came in second place, losing by only one stroke to Brian Claar and Randall Mays! Their scores over the four days:  60-66-66-64-256. As a result, Frey also won the first Jack Lemmon Award, decribed as "a Waterford Crystal trophy [for] the amateur who helped his pro partner the most over the four rounds." He did so with 31 strokes (he had a handicap of 17). The other pair he played with: Jim Carter and Glen Campbell.
