Eagles - Sunrise, Florida 2003 DVD

Eagles in Sunrise, Florida
Date: May 17, 2003
Quality: B+
Source: Audience
Discs: Two

Note: At first filmed off of screens, at which time there is a bit of blocking from what appears to be hanging lights, and the film is it’s black and white. After a few songs, he switched to filming the stage itself, and it's pretty well-done, if shaky sometimes. In the intro to Love Will Keep Us Alive, Don jokes that they’ve been working on an album for two years but that’s not unusual because they “spent two years down in Miami one week” recording a song “a long time ago.” Guess he means the Christmas single. The picture drops out for Love Will Keep Us Alive. Glenn does Take It to the Limit on piano. One can’t see parts of Lyin’ Eyes. While the first disc ends mid-way through Turn to Stone, one can thankfully find the full version on Disc 2 (one of my favorite Joe songs). The picture freezes for a while during Desperado, but you can still hear audio. It's restored by the end with a nice close-up of Don via the screens.
