Glenn Frey with the Little River Band in Brisbane, Australia
Date: April 30, 1988
Quality: B+
Source: FM
Discs: One
Note: This show opened the 1988 World Expo. Glenn was the guest of the Little River Band in Australia. As a result, Glenn Shorrock sings a verse on most of Glenn's songs. Cool for LRB fans, I guess, not as cool for Frey fans. The only song where Frey doesn't share his lead vocal with Shorrock is Desperado (and even that's merged into LRB's Cool Change). But hey, he didn't do a solo tour that year, we should be glad for what we can get, right? (Oh, and the Soul Searching below is NOT Frey's - turns out LRB has a song by that name, too). Additionally, there are some sound errors on Love Is a Bridge, and there is a lot of static/buzz and more sound errors on the last track. In fact, if it weren't for that, the sound would be A-.
