Joe Walsh - Westbury 1988

Joe Walsh in Westbury, New York
Date: June 29, 1988
Quality: B+
Source: Audience
Discs: One

Note: Takes place at the Westbury Music Fair. Joe's mom and family are there. He says his little brother is "scared shitless" because he's about to have twins, and he dedicates The Confessor to the twins. Also, he reminisces about attending junior high school nearby and later disses Prince and Howard Stern. He tells a couple of jokes after Funk #49 - one the old standard "my brother thinks he's a chicken" and another of more questionable taste about why female skydivers wear Tampax: "so they don't whistle on the way down." For Rocky Mountain way, Reagan's at bat. He jokes after Rocky Mountain Way about running for President again. He gives a long speech about the things he'd do differently. A couple examples: take care of all terrorists with a chainsaw and give people that voted for him free toilet paper for life. He also adds in some serious stuff about taking care of our children. Finally, he dedicates I Like Big Tits to his MOM. (Funny or messed up? You decide.)
